About Harptree Training & Events
Harptree Training and Events run First Aid for Mental Health courses for businesses, educational institutions and voluntary Search and Rescue teams. We run open courses from our training centre, or can come to your location to deliver a course to your group.
Martin Papworth is the Director of Harptree Training and Events and is the Lead Trainer. Martin qualified as a Teacher in 2000. Since then he has a had a career that has progressed from teaching to a national education and sport charity, national sporting governing bodies, and business and industry. Martin is also the Deputy Team Leader and Search and Rescue Incident Controller for a Mountain Rescue Team.
Martin is a qualified First Aid for Mental Health Instructor.
Our Training Centre
Our training centre is nestled in the heart of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Naturally Beauty in Somerset. We run open First aid for Mental Health courses from here, as well as providing accommodation, either pre-course or during your course if attending Level 3.
